barrym -> ST170 lower grille. Easy mod and looks great
barrym -> TDCi badge in right hand side of lower grille. I like!!
barrym -> Bosch Aero Twin wipers. Fantastic product. Perform superbly at ANY speed. Never struggle to see where you are going, even at Autobahn speeds
barrym -> Variable Intermittent wiper. 6 speeds ranging from 0.5 secs to about 20 seconds. Tweaky!
barrym -> Polished alloy gearknob. Wanted the one out of the Focus Rs but this was 1/3rd the price
barrym -> ST170 300mm discs with MK3 Mondeo calipers. Had to fit ST170 knuckles as well hence the large cost but well worth it. However testing on the Nurburgring has shown I need to fit uprated pads/ fluid as well. Maybe even an upgrade to larger rear discs as well. Watch this space!
barrym -> Sabre aerial. Looks good, performs crap. Still worth it though
barrym -> Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tyres. Awesome wet or dry. A little noisy but who cares when you can have so much fun?
barrym -> Performance panel filter. It does give better performance, but needs to be cleaned approx every 4,000 miles otherwise the performance drops to the level of the stock filter (or worse!)
barrym -> 90mm slash cut exhaust tip. Needed to be modified to fit succesfully
barrym -> clear side repeaters for a clean look
barrym -> Smooth rear wiper. Looks nice, performs so so
barrym -> Stainless scuff plates with a 'focus TDCi' motif

barrym -> Bluefin from Superchips. Remap you do yourself at home. Claimed 139bhp but I got 129bhp. Wish I had got an RS Tuning remap

205STDT -> Boost upped to 18psi at present via actuator, max fueling and boost compensator adjustments, very driveable with no smoke :) 40-50 mpg constantly no matter how hard pushed :) jul/aug 2010 now at 27psi :D
205STDT -> Custom straight through exhaust with standard backbox with bigger tailpipe welded on for effect ;) No noiser than with middle box as this was just a resenator it turned out...
205STDT -> Remove anything not needed from the inside, ie all carpets and trim bar top of dash, no rear seats or anything else really! Burnt it all as horrible colour and little mouldy! Downside is its a little noisy now and people think im a bit mad!;)
205STDT -> Cut front cross member which supports rad and have lowered and rewelded on bracket aprox 3-4 inches lower and then welded brackets on to cross member which allows radiator to tilt forwards and sit lower down whilst still using all original samco pipework, much much better cooling and air intake...
205STDT -> Swapped standard thick very heavy copper rad from turbo diesel for a much lighter alluminium one from a gti, almost half the thickness but about 1/4 of the weight, cools just as well as the big one, but more space and much lighter, reccomend but make sure cooling fan works well...
205STDT -> To fit the xantia 1.9 td engine to a 205 you need to use the oil filter housing block from the 205 diesel turbo engine otherwise it will foul on your rad. It also leaves your filter sitting up in a more accessable position so good news all round...
Al56ZS -> Can't beat a bit of red Hammerite!
