How's it going, I've lurked on these forums for a while, love the new colour scheme!


Anyway, I have an 06 focus 1.8tdci, remapped to about 145 BHP. I was thinking about getting a decat to help the turbo out a bit. I was looking to know does anyone know the sounds it gives, I dont really want a loud diesel, unless on the very off chance it sounded good. I looked fro some youtube vids but couldn't spot any.



More of a random question as well, how hard would it be to stick a bigger diesel in in the future? Possibly a nice BMW diesel if thats even possible or would it be better sticking to the likes of a 2.2 mondeo?

with my previous diesels, when I've taken the cats out the ONLY noise that's increased was the turbo whistle. I've never had the "rattle" get any louder.

Do it! Then enjoy the spool up and power it releases :)
